As the Founder and Chairman of Deeqa Group, he has built one of the Horn of Africa’s largest and most respected conglomerates, operating in over 15 countries and employing more than 2,600 people. Mr. Nur is also the Founder of Eastman Minerals, a global mining and refining powerhouse. He is the first African-American to hold a gold refinery license in the U.S. and to launch a private bullion brand.
